Moodbidri: Sports department commissioner H S Venkatesh inspected the ongoing works of Synthetic track and other developmental works in Swaraj maidan at the cost of 15 crores here on August 30.
Later speaking to the reporters he said that 70 per cent of the work has been finished.
Youth minister Abhaychandra Jain on the occasion said that 50lakhs has been requested to be provided for the construction of upper floor in pavilion.
Alva’s director Dr M Mohan Alva, Abhiyanthar Harish assistant of sports department, assistant engineer Sangamesh Kalburgi were present.
