Mangalore :Congress party members paid floral tribute to former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 70th birth anniversary and Karnataka’s former chief minister, D. Devraj Urs at the party office in the city here on August 20.
MLA J R Lobo paid floral tribute and said that Rajiv Gandhi and Devraj Urs, both the leaders have built the party. Rajiv Gandhi worked for the development of the nation and Devraj Urs served poor and downtrodden, he said.
Mayor Mahabala Marla, MLC Ivan Dsouza, Sadashiva Ullal, Kallige Taranatha Shetty, Shashidhar Hegde, Naveen Dsouza were present.
