Bantwal: Vittal police have arrested an accused who was absconding from the last four years. He was accused in three different assault cases.
The accused Abdul Rahiman alias Adrama(35) son of Aboobakker, a resident of Muguli in Bayaru was arrested here in Bayaru.
He had escaped the clutches of the police by going abroad.
Recently he returned to his native place, and police, on getting information, arrested him. Vittal sub-inspector Raghavendra T R and staff were present at his arrest.
The accused has been produced before the court and his passport has been seized.
