Mangalore: The 52nd Tulu movie, ‘Chaali Polilu’ will hit theatres on Friday October 31 across the coastal region. Produced by Prakash Pandeshwara under the banner of Jayakirana films the movie’s USP is comedy. The movie runs for 2.30 minutes. The movie has been awarded a ‘U’ certificate by the censor board.
Two legendary stalwarts of Tulu cinema, Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Devdas Kapikad, have come together in ‘Chaali Polilu’ for the first time. Also, ‘Chaali Polilu’ has brought together the finest actors from the Tulu film industry.
This movie will be premiered in all box office theaters in Mangalore region such as Jyothi, Cinepolis – City Centre Mall, BIG Cinemas – Bharath Mall, Amarashree Theatre – Moodbidri, and Nakshatra Cinema – B C Road.
Veerendra Shetty Kavoor makes his directorial debut, alongwith script, screenplay and also the dialogues. It is the maiden venture of Jaya Kirana Films headed by Prakash Pandeshwar.
Noted music director of the Kannada film industry V Manohar has composed songs. The songs have been shot in the picturesque surroundings of Madikeri and Mangalore.
Arjun Kapikad and Surendra Bantwal have made special appearances in this movie. Renowned theatre artistes and actors Navin Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor; Sundar Rai Mandara, and Chetan Rai also appear in this movie. Actress Divyashree and Navya add beauty and poise to the cast.
