Madikeri: TTV Dinkaran met the 18 MLAs extending support to him on September 22 at the resort in Kodagu and discussed in detail to chalk out the future strategy.
Disclosing the details of the meeting, rebel faction leader and MLA Tamil Selvam said the first round of discussions were held after their leader TTV Dinakaran paid a visit. One more round of talks are scheduled for tomorrow morning and TTV Dinakaran would disclose the future course of action at 10 AM in the morning at a press conference, confirmed Tamil Selvam.
All 18 MLAs housed in the private resort are united, said Selvam and rubbished reports of differences within the fraction. Some reports earlier had attributed Dinakaran’s visit to patch up differences within the “rebel” group.
“AIADMK party belongs to us and will succeed in retaining the original election symbol from the election commission,” said a confident Tamil Selvam.
“The speaker has no right to disqualify us and even Chief Minister Palaniswamy has no right to take action against us,” asserted Tamil Selvam.
Around 18 MLAs supporting TTV Dinakaran are housed at Paddington Resort in Kodagu for the last couple of days.
