Madikeri: In a rather brisk operation the Somwarpet police arrested four persons in connection to murder of an auto driver, within few hours of the crime.
Sathish (28), an auto driver was hacked to death at Jambooru Baane near Maadaapura on Saturday, September 9.
Sathish was waylaid by a gang of men when he was returning home and was attacked brutally using weapons. Though he was rushed to government hospital in Madikeri, he died at the hospital. Soon, the police registered a case and plunged into probe. During the probe they arrested Rudra, Basappa, Dayanda and Shekar in connection to the murder. Sathish is survived by his wife and a two little kids.
