Bengaluru: Your life is written clearly on your face, believes Zane Cuxton. He should know, for he reads them, secrets, stories and all.
Cuxton, a Scot settled in Bengaluru, says he can also detect depression and suicidal tendencies. Citing the example of Andreas Lubitz, the Germanwings co-pilot who crashed the airliner in the French Alps, Cuxton said the tragedy could have been avoided if they had employed a face reader. It can also prevent crime, he said.
“A face reader would analyze the mood and face of pilots and flight attendants before they fly. A typical suicide red flag is the whitening of the eyes below the iris. This is visible in the recent photographs of the co-pilot who is alleged to have committed mass murder by crashing the plane. Like a security check, face reading has to be inculcated for pilots,” says Cuxton, who began a two-day workshop on face reading on Saturday.
Face reading can also save companies a good deal on employee hiring and training. According to him, attrition and work-related dissatisfaction is on the rise, and could be stemmed if a face reader is on the recruitment panel. “Face reading is not knowledge. It’s an acquired skill. Nothing can be hidden on the face. Ideally, HR personnel should be trained in face reading,” says Cuxton, who taught Tamil Nadu police a few face reading skills.
Cuxton trains people in body language and soft skills, and also handles career counselling, in the city’s corporate firms. He teachers over 25,000 people every year. “I don’t teach face reading to everyone, as it shouldn’t be misused,” he said. He has also been a consultant for many VIPs in the city, including members of the Mysuru royal family.
Every gesture a person makes has meaning, says K Suresh, a face reader by passion, who was taught by Cuxton.
IT’S A PROFILE
Face reading as a recruitment tool has been documented to have been used by the Greeks since the time of Aristotle. Aristotle was designated the role of employing people for Alexander the Great. A human being can’t change the shape, texture, lines, scars and moles of the face, as and when they want to. Face reading is profiling a person based on these features. It is a very accurate analysis of an individual’s personality, drives and motivators.
