Banakal: The long pending demand of villagers in Banakal was met after KSRTC, Mudigere unit started Balur-Hosatti bus service.

JD(S) taluk president B S Laxman Gowda speaking on the occasion said that the villagers had to go by walk till Banakal hobli hence this service will benefit all.

Suprem Gowda, a villager said, “We had to walk 3km to reach our work places. Sometimes we often ended up paying extra for private vehicles to reach home. I am really happy with KSRTC service which has started on this route.”

Mudigere unit official said, “we have started two-day experimental service on this route with two trips at 8.30am and 4.30pm. After July 17 we will start regular buses linking Banakal through Balur from Mattikatte. “
