Sringeri: An Akhila Bharath Vidhyarthi Parishat member ended life in Sringeri after a police complaint was filed against him and few others recently.
Abhishek (21), a B.Com student hanged himself to death leaving behind a death note.
It is said that on January 7 orator Chakravarthi Soolibele was supposed to arrived at Sringeri for a programme. However, NSUI members had held a press meet stating that Soolibele should not be allowed to hold programme in Sringeri, due to which a tiff broke out between members of two organisation. After the quarrel cases were booked against four members of ABVP and Abhishek happened to be one of them.
In his death note, Abhishek has allegedly mentioned the same incident and said that he was killing himself as a police case against him would spoil his life.
Sringeri police have registered a complaint.
