New Delhi: Broadening the ambit of their investigation, the crime branch has arrested Jitendar Nagpal, personal assistant to a joint secretary in forest and environment ministry in the corporate espionage case.
The cops have also detained another employee for questioning and are likely to arrest him.
The arrested person, Jitendra Nagpal, was passing sensitive documents to arrested consultant Lokesh Sharma who was arrested earlier.
The cops claim he had links in other ministries as well from where he got the documents and passed on.
With this total arrests have reached 15 and the number of compromised ministries to 5. Earlier, cops had found leaks from petroleum, coal, power and defence.
Crime branch had picked up the two staffers of ministries in a late night operation.
