UAE Kabaddi Fest: Mangalore beats Tamilnadu in finals

Dubai: The Arjuna Archery Arts and Sports Club of UAE organized an India level kabaddi fest at GMC university ground Ajman behind Khalifa hospital, Dubai on on January 23.

There were altogether 26 teams from different states who took part in the fest, 21 from Kerala,4 from Tamilnadu and one team representing Karnataka.

In the first semifinals, New Bharath Kannangal defeated Finex Kalachara with 17-13 points. In the second semifinal New Mark defeated Victory Palla with 19-18 points.

Final match was held between New Mark Mangalore and New Bharath Kannangal Tamilnadu. The Mangalore emerged winners of the fest who beat Tamilnadu team with 21-19 points.

The New Bharath Kannangal team is owned by Al Quoz Contracting Company and the Mangalore team is owned by Noel D’ Almeida and Naveen Salian.
