Qatar: KSQ hosts Iftar party

Doha: Karnataka Sangha Qatar, a frontline socio cultural community of Kannadiga expatriates organized an Iftar get together on 18th July Friday at Doha Grand Palace Hotel.

The event started at 5.30pm and more than 100 invitees were present on the occasion. KSQ committee member Thufail Matheen inaugurated the program and Noor Mohammed spoke on the meaning and benefits of Ramadan fasting and read out beautiful lines of Quran.

KSQ president Deepak shetty welcomed the many leading personalities and wished to all present Ramadan Kareem. He thanked them for accepting their invitation to join them in breaking their fast.

Meanwhile KSQ as a mark of social activity provided financial assistance to Umraha, to a deserving member who was facing financial difficulties.

Evening prayer ‘isha’ was offered by attendees and after prayer Iftar was served with delicious dishes.

The heads of various associations of Karnataka organizations – Ravi Shetty Tulu Koota Qatar, KMCA president Niyaz Ahmed, Bunts Qatar Prakashchandra Ajila, Divakar Poojary of Billva Sangha Qatar, Abdul Majeed SKMWA, Kundapur Taluk Welfare Association Asmath Ali, Kareem Abdulla president of ICBF, Girish Kumar acting president ICC, Prakash Noronha MCC, Iqbal Manna, Arun Kumar, Aravind Patil, V.Mannangi, Sanjay Kudri, M I Fareed, Habibullah Nabhi, Ramachandra shetty along with other prominent members attended the Iftar.
