Qatar: Karnataka Sangha Qatar a frontline community in Qatar conducted “Miss KSQ” Beauty Pageant contest with glamorous shine here on Friday evening at Al Maha Boys academy.
Dr.Bharathi Vishnuvardhan a legendary Indian cinema actress has grace the occasion as chief guest. Mr.Anirudha Jatkar Kannada cinema actor was guest of honour and col.P.S.Suresh was special guest on the program. The program started with enlightens of Jyothi and followed with Bharathi casted Kannada numbers sung by Tufail Mateen, Aravind Patil, Kiran, Manu, Prajna, Suchitra and Sowmya.
KSQ president Deepak Shetty, vice president Nagesh Rao escorts the chief guest to the dias. Advisrory board chairman V.S.Mannangi, cultural secretary Sunil kamalaksha were present on the dias. KSQ president Deepak shetty delivered welcome keynote and meanwhile KSQ quarterly e-magazine “Nam Nammalli” was released during the occasion, H.K Madhu has worked as chief editor and Savious Crasta has done graphic design for the magazine.
Meanwhile KSQ and other Karantaka based communities’ felicitated actress Dr.Bharathi. Speaking on the occasion Dr.Bharathi shared her feeling about NRI kannadigas and appreciated saying that NRI kannadigas residing far from mother land but still kept alive tradition and culture of Karnataka. Speaking on occasion Col.P.S .Suresh raises the voice for patriotism and unity.

The Miss.KSQ beauty pageant contest was highlight of the evening, Prathana Shetty took the show into extravaganza with her multi talented compering skill. Traditional & western rounds made more shine in the contest. Finally the judge panel board of Anirudha Jatkar & Nitya natarajan adjudged Bhavya shetty as console prize winner, Divya Chethan become 2nd runner up, Preethi shetty won 1st runner up. Srikrutha Ajeesh shetty crowned Miss KSQ title.
Padma Sasanur compere the program with her good command on Kannada, Subha muralidharan delivered vote of thanks. The program ended up with photo session & snacks.
