BSK announced new managing committee 2015

Kuwait: An annual general meet was held by the Buntara Sangha on January 16 at Indian Community School, Salmiya.

The program commenced with a prayer followed by the traditional lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee.

Vice President Mrs Nirmitha Shetty welcomed the gathering while Mr Chetan Adappa, General Secretary, presented the annual report highlighting the various cultural and social activities that organised last year.

Treasurer Mr. Shodan Shetty briefed about the income and expenditure of the Sangha for the year 2014.

The Managing Committee honored all the sub-committee members and also other adults and kids who participated in the various cultural programs.

The outgoing President Mr. Guru Hegde extended gratitude to all the members for the year long cooperation and support as well as the warm response in contribution to welfare activities to serve the needy under HEMA (Health, Education, Marriage Assistance) scheme.

Mr. Vishwanath Shetty, the designated Election officer briefed over the nomination of the Managing Committee for the year 2015. The following office bearers were declared to have been elected to serve as office bearers for the year 2015.

President: Mr. Rajesh Shetty Agari (Rayee Shethala)
Vice President: Mr. Sanath Kumar Shetty
Gen. Secretary: Mr. Dinesh Shetty
Treasurer: Mrs. Babita Manoj Shetty
Cultural Secretary: Mr. Sudarshan Shetty
Sports: Mr. Devi Prasad Shetty
PRO: Mr. Raghunath Shetty

Several dance performances and games were organised at the venue followed by the lunch.

The Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Chetan Adappa. The program was well anchored by Mr. Chetan Rai and Mrs. Prithvi Shetty.
