Abu Dhabi: Its carnival time once again in Abu Dhabi. The Konkani Cultural Organisation (KCO), Abu Dhabi which had announced their plans to hold the much awaited annual event ‘FIESTA -2015’ on Friday, 8th May 2015 – 5 P.M onwards at the Abu Dhabi Country club, located next to Abu Dhabi Immigration Department welcomed the artistes scheduled to perform at the fiesta. These include Mr. Melwyn Peris & Mr. Robin Sequeira, Ms.Anitha D’Souza & Ms. Zeena Pereira from Managlore & Mrs. Lorna, the Goan Nightingale from Goa. These renowned artistes are expected to mesmerize the audience with the foot tapping numbers and sung in their melodious voices.
As always, this year too FIESTA – will be filled with fun and entertainment & sumptuous Buffet packaged around unique activities, music and fun. ”My enthusiastic team members with their meticulous planning and creative ideas are all fully charged to bring in the festive mood and cheer to all young & old ” says Mr. Michael D’silva the Hon. The overwhelming response to the event has boosted the morale of the energetic organizers to plan some fun filled innovative activities to cater to all sections of the guests.
The KCO has chosen the same venue as in the past to accommodate a larger audience in comfort. The entertainment package will be a blend of Konkani, English, & Hindi songs interspersed with breathtaking dances/music performed by professional dancers and performers.
