Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pictures are seen at every corner across the country. However, in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, posters of the PM are being displayed with an urge to find him. Posters that say PM Modi is ‘missing’ have been adorning the streets of Varanasi, which incidentally happens to be his own constituency.

According to local reports, the posters had been taken down overnight by the police.

PM Modi was last seen in Varanasi on his visit in March that lasted 3 days. His visit was deemed as a ‘promotional activity’ as UP was about to undergo Assembly Elections.

Earlier, there were similar posters for Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi in Amethi. These posters alleged that the Congress Vice President had gone missing.

The posters also carried a slogan that read ‘Jaane wo kaun sa desh hai jahan tum chale gaye’, meaning ‘which country have you gone to?’
