Bengaluru/Mangaluru: Fighting against some leaders’ mindset within the RSS and BJP was harder than countering Islamic extremists and Christians performing conversion… The mentality of a few in the Sangh Parivar was mean and brutal due which many of the true RSS cadre had been suffering mammoth pain.
These were the startling claims made by Sri Rama Sene Chief Pramod Mutalik. He was addressing a gathering at a private program organized to celebrate his birthday at Bengaluru. His statements in the audio, which runs for a little over 41 minutes, and is exclusively available with Newskarnataka.com, shows his resentment against the age old saffron outfit. Yes to Muslims, No to Mutalik
Revealing the private conversation that transpired between him and International Working President of VHP Praveen Togadia in the past, he said “Togadia told me that the RSS will accept Muslims into its fold but not Mutalik”. He conveyed in his speech that Togadia shared this with deep sense of pain and disappointment. Mutalik also revealed that Parivar has launched a new wing for Muslims, titled ‘Rashtriya Muslim Manch’.
Pub attack; Execution of RSS’ teachings
He chose his birthday platform to lambast at RSS and BJP for sabotaging his and many other Hindu ideologists’ future prospects just to remain in power. He disclosed that he was thrown out of RSS following the pub attack, which he did to implement the preachings of the RSS. “My father and mother did not tell me to attack the pub. It was taught to me by RSS”. He lamented he was sacked only for executing the orders of RSS. He pointed at the Parivar’s ideological preaching for his activities opposing Valentine’s Day.
Back stabbers
It was learnt from the audio, Mutalik referred to former convener of Bajrang Dal Mahendra Kumar in his speech. However, Kumar was present on the occasion in which Sri Rama Sene Chief expressed Kumar’s grief for being told by the RSS to resign from the Dal’s post after Mangaluru church attack.“Mahendra Kumar has suffered a lot because of RSS’s decision”, he said. The BJP jailed Kumar following the incident. He aggressively called some section of RSS and BJP leaders as back stabbers and contended RSS insulted people like him, Mahendra Kumar and others for emulating Sangh ideology.
‘Ghar Wapsi’ not new
He also hit out at BJP for compromising with Hindu principles to stick to power. The BJP was trying to stop Ghar Wapsi (re conversion). The RSS, after deliberations by the BJP, sacked Rajeshwar Singh, convener of Dharm Jagaran Samanway Samiti for practicing Ghar Wapsi in UP. “Singh was doing this act of reconversion from past eight years but just for the reason that BJP came to power at center, he was forced out of his role by the RSS.”
Brute mindset
Though he did not name any RSS leaders in his address, he claimed the mindset of a few within the RSS prism was highly dangerous. Mutalik went on to say that true Hindus can fight against Muslim terrors and Christians, allegedly carrying out conversions at the behest of missionaries, but is not able to fight against the brute mindset of few leaders in the Parivar. He also lambasted the BJP for its ideological compromise and shunting him within hours of induction. Even as he knocked at the doors of the RSS twice, the outfit rejected his requests to take him back to his ideological home, he divulged.
