Mumbai: From good friends to rivals to friends once again, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan set aside all their differences and reconciled their friendship at the pre-wedding celebrations of the latter’s sister Arpita.
There were numerous pictures and videos that served as proof of the same. Even Aamir Khan spoke about the patch-up a day before the wedding.
Speaking about their reunion at a recent event Shah Rukh said, “Not with arrogance but with utmost humility I say that Salman and me have had many moments of happiness in our lives and very few moments of sorrow but one thing which I can assure is that we will always be there for each other in life to share each other’s moments of happiness and despair.”
Although Shah Rukh gave the wedding in Hyderabad a miss, he made sure he was present for the reception held in Mumbai on Friday. Even at the reception both SRK and Salman were dancing and having fun together.
Shah Rukh further added, “When me and Salman meet personally our relationship is the same as what it was 25 years back. There is no bad blood. From the outside, we are Pathans and hot headed guys and can have issues at times but nothing more to that. Arpita is close to me too. I have seen (her) grow in front of (my) eyes so the essence here was that our sister was getting married and we had to be there.”
