Chamarajanagar: Gundlupet police along with the CID Forest Cell sleuths nabbed three inter-state tusk smugglers on Sunday.
The cops seized a car that was parked at K H B Extension on outskirts of the city and seized two tusks costing several lakhs in the black market.
The three persons arrested are Kunjuman (50), Soman (51) from Tamil Nadu and Sifan (45) from Kerala. It is said that the pair of tusks was being taken by them from Kerala to Bengaluru to hand it over to a businessman.
Case has been registered.
