Puttur: The Student Welfare Committee of Centre for Post Graduate Studies and Research of St Philomena College Puttur organized an orientation programme to PG students on August 23 at the college auditorium.
The Chairperson of the Centre Rev. Dr. Antony Prakash Monteiro in his address thanked all the students for opting St Philomena College for their higher studies. He further inspired them to make optimum utilization of the resources provided to them in the institution.
The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha in his presidential address stressed to shed off UG culture and attain mastery over the subject through reading, learning and research.
Spoorthi and group invoked God’s blessings. Assistant Professor in Social Work Prathibha welcomed the gathering. Assistant Professor in Economics Sandhya H proposed the vote of thanks. The Student Welfare Officer Priyanaka Adline D’Souza compered the programme.
