Mangaluru: The Department of General Surgery, Father Muller Medical College, conducted Guest Lecture on September 23 at the hospital conference hall.
The programme began with a prayer song by final year MBBS students.
Dr. Leo Francis Tauro, Professor & HOD, Department of Surgery, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sunil Furtado, Consultant Neurosurgeon, M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru delivered a Lecture on “Subarachnoid Hemorrhage & Brain Vascular Bypass – Management for Cerebral Ischaemia”.
Dr. Madhukar Nayak, Professor & Consultant Neurosurgeon and Dr. Raghavendra B.S., Consultant Neurologist, Father Muller Medical College moderated the session. Dr. Shubha N. Rao, Professor, Department of Surgery proposed the vote of thanks.
The programme was compered by Dr. Monalisa D’Souza, Postgraduate Resident.
All staff members, postgraduates from the department of surgery, house surgeons and final year students were present for the guest lecture. A total of 80 delegates attended the guest lecture.
