Mangaluru: A long-awaited dream was finally realised with the foundation stone for the Sabha Bhavan laid by Most Rev. Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza under the guidance and able leadership of Sacred Heart church ‘s Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto in the presence of all the dignitaries and the parishioners.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and MLC Ivan D’Souza were the chief guests on the occasion which was also graced by area Corporator Gunakara Shetty.
ESPA President Vincent Misquith of Dubai, architect and engineer of the hall Lawrence Cutinho and donor Robert D’Souza’s mother Alice D’Souza graced the event.
The Parish Council Vice President Dony Suvares, former vice president Peter Alex D’Souza, Secretary Bernard D’Souza, all the parish council members and parishioners witnessed the event.
The programme was compered by George Ligory and vote of thanks was proposed by Vice President Dony Suvares.
