Mangaluru: The inauguration of 60th batch of General Nursing course was held on September 13 at Rajatha Bhavan Hall, in FMCI campus.
After inaugurating the programme, Dr. Padmja Udaykumar, Vice Dean of FMCI said, “Those who completed the GNM from FMCI have lot of demand in other hospitals. They don’t even ask for an interview, rather directly recruit the candidates because of the quality education imparted in our institute of nursing.”
Fr. Richard Coelho, Director of FMCI, in his presidential address said, “FMCI is well equipped with all the modern facilities, including good staff for healthcare and education. Take life seriously, be determined to achieve your goals, in spite of all the hurdles. Hard work and commitment will bring success in life. Holistic development of a person-spiritual, physical, psychological and intellectual-is what the FMCI aims at. Therefore be touched by the Divine every day, by availing all the facilities to grow spiritually in this campus.”
Jasmine Saritha Vas, Principal and Course Coordinator welcomed the gathering.
Fr. Ajith Menezes, Administrator, FMCI was present.
The programme was concluded with the Institutional Anthem.
