Chikkodi: A brave woman rescued four children who were being washed away in a river here in Mallikawada village in Chikkodi two days ago.
Noorjahan Aparaj is the brave woman.
On September 1, four children Parshurama Koli (13), Prathiksha Mane (10), Darshana Koli (9) and Deeksha Mane (9) accidentally fell into the river after returning from a temple. Noorjahan who was washing clothes on the river side saw the children being washed away and jumped into the water risking her own life and saved them.
The locals have lauded the brave woman for her lifesaving skill.
