Chikkodi: The region is still mourning the death of a little girl who fell into a borewell here on April 22. After this tragic incident, the cops have now arrested the owner of the land where the failed bore well was left open.
Muthappa Hipparagi has been nabbed by the police following tragic death of Kaveri, little girl from Jhunjarwada of Athani in Belagavi who had a fatal fall into borewell. The two-day long rescue operation to pull out the girl failed and the girl was retrieved dead.
Meanwhile, Muthappa’s father Shankarappa Hipparagi, who too is an accused in the case is missing and the police is on a lookout.
