Website accused of malicious posts on Indira Gandhi, complaint filed

Bengaluru: The Congress has accused a website of trying to malign the image of former prime minister late Indira Gandhi on social media through derogatory posts and a complaint has been filed with state police chief.
 
KPCC Information and Technology Cell has written to state police chief Rupak Kumar Dutta and has asked him to take action against “Postcardkannada.com” website.
 
In the complaint, the Congress has accused the website of trying to malign the image of Indira Gandhi by posting derogatory news articles. The website is also indulging in posting derogatory comments against women in general, the complaint states. 
 
Earlier, the BJP too had complained against “MyBengaluru.com” website for disrespectful statements against BJP chief Amit Shah. BJP had accused the website of posting fake news that Amit Shah had asked to hoist BJP party flag instead of Karnataka state flag on the day of Kannada Rajyotsava.
