Bengaluru: From the academic year 2018-19, the state government is planning to hold SSLC and II PUC final examination simultaneously to check examination related malpractices.

As per the proposal, both the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) and state PU department will hold the examination together. The government is planning to allot the examination centers and seat numbers to the students randomly to ensure that ?there is ?no foul play?..

Confirming the development, education minister Mr. Tanveer Sait informed that the proposal is in under consideration and will not be implemented in a hurry. “A decision in this regard will be taken only after consultation with all the stake holders,” he said.

Meanwhile, the state government is also considering the proposal of releasing question papers online just four minutes before the examination schedule. “On trial basis, this online question paper delivery scheme will be implemented in ?a ?few districts.” explained an officer following the developments.
