Bengaluru: The state government on Monday transferred six IAS officers with immediate effect. Rajeev Chawla, Additional Chief Secretary, Horticulture and Sericulture Department has been posted as the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Housing, in the existing vacancy relieving Mahendra Jain of concurrent charge.
Names of the officers who have been transferred and their new postings are as follows: Gaurav Gupta, Principal Secretary, Information Technology, Bio-Technology & Science and Technology. Gupta also placed in concurrent charge of Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (E-governance). Darpan Jain, Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries and Commerce. Jain also continued as Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Land Transport. Salma K Fahim, Director, Department of Information Technology and Bio-Technology. K Nagaraj, Chief Executive Officer, Centre for E-governance, DP & AR (E-governance). M Maheswar Rao, Secretary, Agriculture Department, is placed in concurrent charge of Secretary, Horticulture and Sericulture Department.
