Bengaluru: A 30-year-old software engineer on Thursday jumped to death from the fourth floor of her office building in Whitefiled police limits.
The police have identified the victim as Shobha Lakshminarayan (30), a software engineer working with Harman Software Company.
According to the police, Shobha Lakshminarayan, a resident of West of Chord Road in Bengaluru, was suffering from depression and she might have taken the drastic step to end her life due to depression. The police said the deceased attended duty on Thursday and visited cafeteria on the fourth floor of her office building from where she jumped to death.
A case has been registered at Whitefield police station and the police are investigating the case.
