Bengaluru: A seven-year-old girl was killed after a rider knocked her down with his bike while performing a wheelie on the road at Uttanahalli village in Chikkajala police limits on Thursday evening.
The police have identified the deceased as Sahana V, a resident of Maranayakanahalli Colony in Uttanahalli. The police said the incident took place when the girl was playing in front of her residence.
The police have identified the accused as Raju, 25, from Uttanahalli. They have arrested the accused and also seized his bike.
According to the police, the accused lost control over his bike while performing a wheelie and rammed into Sahana. She was injured critically and admitted to a private hospital at Yelahanka. Later, she succumbed to injuries.
