Bengaluru: The BSY-Eshwarappa fight is only getting uglier and after the supporters of the two leaders resorted to fist fight in a convention held at Palace Grounds on Thursday, there is one suspicion that is making rounds.

Is the RSS remote controlling the feud, question many.
What has been fueling this suspicion is the pattern of news coverage by a state-level newspaper, which is considered to be a mouthpiece of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
The newspaper, which was out on Friday morning had the rebel convention (Save the Organisation) orchestrated by the Rayanna Brigade and the disgruntled old guards of the BJP as the lead story in its Bengaluru edition.
The newspaper devoting this important place for the convention has not gone down well with many BJP leaders, specifically the BSY supporters.
Speaking to newskarnataka.com, a BSY supporter said generally this particular Kannada newspaper has been a reflection of the ideas of the RSS.
“Now that the newspaper has attributed so much importance to the rebel convention, it is somewhere clear as to what RSS has in its mind,” he said.
A convention under the theme ‘Save the organisation’ was held on Thursday by a faction of leaders- specifically the supporters of Eshwarappa to fight against the authoritative style of functioning of BJP state chief B S Yeddyurappa. The splinter faction had said that it is the wrong policies and unilateral decision-making by BSY which led to miserable defeat of the BJP in the Nanjangudu-Gundlupete by-polls. But the detractors of BSY went ahead to hold the convention despite warnings from BJP National Chief Amit Shah.
