Bengaluru: The Akhila Karnataka Vicharavadigala Sangha, which aims to create scientific thinking among the public, will honour poet-thinker Siddalingaiah and writer Baskar Maiah with ‘Karnataka Maha Vichararatna Award’ for 2017. The award presentation function will be held at Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat in Banashankari II Stage on February 26.President of the sangha A.S. Nataraj will present the award. Writer Chandrashekara Patila (Champa), who will be chief guest of the occasion, will deliver keynote address. Since the past two years, the sangha has been honouring those working for eradication of superstitions and to create scientific temperament among the public.
