Bengaluru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) police on Friday arrested eight persons on the charges of gambling. The police have identified the arrested persons as Srinivasa, 40, Shivanand, 32, Vijayakumar, 34, Tanveer, 36, Mehaboob Pasha, Bastin, 48, Raju D H, 37, owner of the shop, and Raju (28), a worker at the shop.
receiving a tip off from informers, the CCB police searched Sri Sai Recreation Association, a video game shop and arrested eight persons for gambling. The police have seized Rs 29,310 cash, 15 mother borads and 30 key boards from the arrested persons.
A case has been registered at Whitefield Police Station.
