Gowramma and the family members of Ravi are expected to meet CM Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru today to press for justice in D K Ravi death case.

As per sources, Gowramma performed the rituals connected to death anniversary of Ravi at his native village of Doddakoppalu on Sunday reportedly after pledging her gold. During the ritual Ravi’s wife Kusuma and her father Hanumantharayappa remained absent making way for several questions.

The family has allegedly not received any compensation so far.

D K Ravi, an IAS officer was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his official residence in Bengaluru. He was appointed as assistant commissioner of Commercial tax department when the incident occured. After the death several theories musroomed around his death, one strongly propagating that Ravi had committed suicide. Another theory spoke of a possible murder because Ravi had taken on big turks as AC of commercial tax.

Owing to public pressure the case was handed over to CBI and the CBI is now likely to submit a report concluding Ravi’s death as suicide.
