Bengaluru: The Department of Posts will conduct a special drive in October to collect details of Aadhaar, mobile and PAN numbers of its savings bank account holders.
Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle, Bengaluru, has appealed to all Post Office savings bank account holders to visit the post offices where their accounts have been opened along with a copy of Aadhaar and furnish a mandate in the prescribed form for linking their Aadhaar, PAN and mobile numbers to their savings bank accounts.
