Ramanagar: The festival of lights turned dark for three persons as the car in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a lake near Managanahalli on October 18 night.
Chidanand (24), Sheshakh (6) and Impana (4), all residents of Gottigehalli in Kanakapura taluk are the deceased.
The fourth occupant, a boy named Dileep (12) had a miraculous escape.
The driver lost control while negotiating a sharp curve which led to the accident, informed police. The incident occurred when all were heading to a relative’s residence in Siddaiahnadoddi to take part in Deepavali celebrations.
Bidadi police have registered a case.
