Bengaluru: State BJP president B.S. Yeddyurappa on Tuesday alleged Siddaramaiah government preventing him from collecting documents pertaining to 35 corruption cases involved by Siddaramaiah and his Cabinet ministers.

Speaking to media persons at BJP office after admitting retired IAS officer Anjan Kumar and leaders of Koracha community to BJP, Yeddyurappa said the Congress government would continue in power for five to six months in the state.

“BJP will come to power in the state by bagging more than 150 Assembly seats in the next elections,’’ the BJP state president said.

He said the BJP will release the charge-sheet against the chief minister and other ministers on September 23 or 24. “The government has been creating hurdles to collect documents. All the documents will be collected as per the norms,’’ he said.

He has also alleged that illegal mining is taking place at the land belonging to Mysuru Maharaja. “Siddaramaiah’s supporters are involved in the illegal mining,’’ he said.

The BJP’s Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivarthan rally will begin from Bengaluru on November 1. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah will flag off the rally. It will begin from November 1 and will tour all Assembly constituencies for 70 days,’’ he said.

Ridiculing Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for announcing that he would be the next Prime Minister of the country while in US, the State BJP president said Rahul Gandhi had become laughing stock by making such tall claims. “Congress failed to win the sufficient number of seats in the Lok Sabha elections to be recognized as the Opposition party in the Lok Sabha,’’ he said.

He has also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been working hard day and night to make the country as the most developed country in the world. “Our country will become number one country in the world,’’ he said.
Assuring to work for the welfare of Koracha community, he said the Koracha community needs education.
