Bengaluru: After Shivananda Circle, Bengaluru will get one more steel bridge between Minarva circle and Hudson circle. According to the reliable sources in the BBMP, a tender notification in this regard will be issued soon.
It is said that this steel bridge proposal was first mooted in the 2007-08 at an estimated cost of Rs. 127.30 crores. “Tender will be issued for the same amount,” explained sources.
According to the draft tender notification, this steel bridge will have four lane road. It will be of 2.35 kilo meter and will cover highly congested JC road, RV Road, VV Puram and other areas of South Bengaluru. “Shivananda circle steel bridge work has already begun, while the new bridge works will begin once the tender process is completed,” explained sources.
