Bank employee jumps to death from 5th floor

Bengaluru: An employee of the Central Bank of India was found lying dead in front of the bank premises on Kempe Gowda Road on Monday morning, October 24.

The police have identified the victim as Vasanth (29) working as assistant manager at the Central Bank of India branch on Kempe Gowda Road. The police suspect that he committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor of the building.

It was said the victim came to the bank on Monday in the morning and asked the security guard to open the door stating that he had some work. Around 8 a.m. the guard heard a huge sound and when he rushed to the spot, he found Vasanth lying dead in a pool of blood.

The Upparpet police have registered a case and are investigating.
