Asha Bhonsle renders her golden voice for Kannada film song

Bengaluru: Bollywood singers lending their voice for Sandalwood stars is not a new trend at all. Many of the welll known playback singers from Bollywood have sung Kannada film songs and they have been accepted by the Kannadiga wholeheartedly. However, the latest to join the club of Bollywood singers coming down to Karnataka is none other than queen of Indi pop and golden voice of India Asha Bhosle.

It is said that Asha Bhosle will be singing ‘Kannu kannalli banna bannada kanasannu kodthalalla’ for upcoming film ’19/11′.

The film is being produced under the banner of Shri Nilayam Cine Creations by Madhav Reddy, who bagged state award for his last movie ‘Amaravathi’ in 2016.

The song has been written by Aryan M Prathap and Raghavendra Kamath and has been recorded at Yash Raj Studio in Mumbai, thereby making it the first Kannada film song to have been recorded there. The film has been directed by Aryan M Prathap, who has also written the story.
