Bengaluru: State health minister K R Ramesh Kumar is undergoing treatment at Bowring hospital in Bengaluru after he showed viral fever symptoms on his return from Belagavi.
It is gathered, the minister is recuperating from fatigue and dysentery after he consumed food and water on his return journey after attending the winter session of assembly. The minister, admitted to the hospital at 9.30 am on December 4, needs a day’s rest and there are no serious concerns on his health conditions, affirmed Dr. Manjunath at Bowring hospital, treating the minister.
Ramesh Kumar, recovering in the VVIP ward of the hospital, expressed happiness at the treatment given to him at the hospital.
The minister who is known for his simplicity has drawn wide appreciation from several quarters for his stance on getting admitted in a government hospital where none of his contemporaries wish to step in for treatment.
