Bengaluru: The state government of Karnataka has announced its prestigious film awards on Friday. The senior actress and producer Harini has been selected for prestigious Dr Rajkumar Award for 2016.
Vishnuvardhan award has been bagged by Nagathahalli Chandrashekar and Puttanna Kanagal award went to senior director Rajan.
The press note said that the award will be presented soon.
Harini is one of the pioneers among women producers in Kannada film industry. Her brother Vadiraj too marked her foot steps by producing and acting in films in Kannada. Harini has acted in many films with Dr Rajkumar in various capacities.
