Bangalore: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has declared P. Nagaraj of the Ramanagaram unit as its new chairman today, on Wednesday September 17.
M.P. Raveendra, the Harapanahalli MLA, and P. Nagaraj were the main contenders for the coveted post.
Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday September 16, Minister for Cooperation and Sugar H.S. Mahadeva Prasad said there was no confusion over the appointment of a new chairperson, however they were keen on announcing the name only after the approval given by Minister for Animal Husbandry T.B. Jayachandra.
“A final decision has been taken and the choice was unanimous,” Prasad concluded.
