Bengaluru: Air Commodore (Retd.) Parvez Khokhar, who was murdered at his residence in a gated community off Hosur Road was bid adieu with several serving and retired air force officers looking on at the Methodist Church in Richmond Town on Wednesday .
They included former chief of the Indian Air Force SP Tyagi. Some retired officers gave crisp salutes while paying their last respects to the war hero of the 1971 Indo Pak War.
Following the funeral, the commodore was buried in a cemetery on Hosur Road.
Meanwhile, police officers investigating the murder said that they are yet to get a breakthrough.
