Manipal: The Manipal-Udupi Toastmasters Club met on Saturday, July 19 to install its office bearers for 2014-15.
Sridhar Kamath would be the President of the Club for the next year. Tanuja Maben would be the Club Vice-President (Education). The other Office-bearers of the club would be Rajshekharan Pillai – Club VP Membership, Srikanth Prabhu – Club VP PR, Chetana M – Club Secretary, Vineet Shetty – Club Treasurer, Vijayalakshmi Club Sergeant At Arms.
Toastmaster Shyam Kamath from Mangalore administered the oath. The Installation Ceremony was followed by the regular chartered meeting of the Club. Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational institution whose main objective is to develop communication and leadership skills of its members resulting in greater self confidence and personal growth.
There are about 14,350 clubs in 122 countries with nearly 2,92,000 members. The Manipal-Udupi Toastmasters Club was formed in April 2014 and meets once in a fortnight at Forrader (Opp. Syndicate Bank Head Office), Manipal.
