Mumbai :Kulal Sangha Mumbai women division organised Aatidonji Dina-food festival here at Samarasa Bhavan of Karnataka Sangh in Matunga recently.
Sumathi S Banjan presided over the function. Yashodha Balakrishna Salyan was the chief guest and inaugurated the function. Addressing the gathering she said that this is a suitable platform for women to bring out their talent in preparing delicious dishes.
Various competitions were organised in which more than 55 different dishes were prepared.
Secretary of Womens division Advocate Savina S Kulal, treasurer Vanitha Karkera, Local committee members Mallika D Moolya, Kushala G Bangera, Surekha Bangera, Premalatha R Moolya, Mamatha G Salyan and others were present.
Suchitha Banjan spoke about Aati Kalenja and the Month of Aati.
Writer and poet Chandrahasa Suvarna spoke about Tulunadu and its rich culture.
Honorary President P K Salyan, president Girish Salyan were present.
