Mangaluru: ICYM CORDEL organised ‘BAAL CORDEL-2014’, a competition for the children below 5 years at Frad Saib Hall of Holy Cross Church,Cordel, Kulshekhar on 9th November,2014 at 5;30 pm.
There were 29 participants who enthusiastically displayed their boldness and cuteness before the large crowd that had gathered to witness the event.
Kids presented themselves in the first round and in the second round they managed to answer the questions asked by the anchor and also sing and dance beautifully.
Winner was awarded ”BAAL CORDEL-2014” title and attractive prizes.
Director of ICYM CORDEL and Vicar of Holy Cross Church,Cordel Rev. Fr Valerian Pinto, Assistant Parish Priests Fr Vishal Monis and Fr Anil Lobo, Church Parish Council Vice President Mr Praveen Patrao, Cultural Secretary Mrs Lilly Pais, Judges of the show Mr Anil Monteiro and Rev. Sr Cecilia, ICYM CORDEL president Jeethesh Lasrado,Cultural Secretary Vernon Crasta were present.
‘BAAL CORDEL-2014’ was anchored by Rynel Sequeira.
There were games for all the students from 1st to 10 standard at 3:30 pm at St Joseph School grounds and winners were given attractive prizes.
All the children present also enjoyed scoops of ice cream!
ICYM CORDEL had also organised the ‘PHOTOGENIC CONTEST’ for the kids below 5 years.
There were 33 photo entries and the prizes were awarded during ‘BAAL CORDEL’ programme.
