‘Soundarya Siri Singaara-2014’, three day annual fest held

Bengaluru: Soundarya Siri Singara 2014, a 3 day annual fest to develop scientific temper and research aptitude among students was organised by Soundarya PU College Bengaluru’ from November 28 to 30 at the college premises.

Prominent people who have achieved in the science and cultural fields, ISRO former chairman Prof U R Rao, Ashwini Angadi winner of Voice for the Blind award in World Health Organisation, journalist A R Manikanth and popular Saxophone player Padmashree Dr Kadri Gopalnath performed on the occasion.

A road show was held from Jalahalli cross to Soundarya college premises. Actor Rathnakara, theatre artists Master Hirannayya, poet and renowned writer,  Dr H S Venkatesh Moorthy were invited as special guests for the programme.

Dr H S Laxminarayana Bhatt, Y V Gundurao, S Ramanath, director T S Nagabharana, scientist and writer Haldodderi Sudheendra were also present as guests on the occasion.
